Correspondence with professional organizations, published and unpublished drafts of articles, speeches, notes related to Dr. Deferrrari's published writings, classroom notes and student papers. While some of his classroom notes date to the 1920s and some of his personal papers date to the 1930s, the majority of the items within this collection fall within the range of 1950 -1966.

He was born on June 1, 1890 in Stoneham, Massachusetts, the fourth of six children.
